What to have ready
- The vehicle’s year, make and model, and the VIN: it is on the dash at the base of the windshield and on the driver’s door frame.
- Which glass is damaged, and a photo if you can take one.
- Whether the car has lane keeping, automatic braking or adaptive cruise control, so calibration can be quoted with the glass.
- Where the car will be for the visit, and whether there is a garage or covered parking.
- Your insurer’s name and policy or claim number, if you are claiming.
